Arenduskoda

Arenduskoda is situated in Northern Estonia, joining together the territories of Tapa, Kadrina, Haljala and Kuusalu counties and Loksa town as Leader area.


There are two naturally beautiful areas in Arenduskoda region – Lahemaa National Park by the Baltic Sea, and Kõrvemaa among forests and swamps. Both have a distinct natural environment where one can go in for nature tourism. There are several interesting old manors situated in the area.
In Tapa lies the central polygon of Estonian Defence Forces – an important employer and client for service industry.
95% of companies in the area are micro enterprises. The most significant economical sectors are agriculture and forestry.

Overall aim of Arenduskoda is to develop good environment for lifestyle entrepreneurs and for companies that offer services and local food, preserving and adding value to resources available in the area.
