Cesis district rural partnership is a non–governmental organization, involves Cesis, Amata, Priekuļi, Ligatne, Rauna, Vecpiebalga, Jauniebalga counties and Raiskums rural municipality.
Organization encourages community initiative and responsibility for their local development and environment improvement.
There are two beautiful natural areas in Cesis district rural partnership region – Gauja National Park –the widest and deepest river valley in Baltics with outstanding scenery and hillside forests and Vecpiebalga protected landscape area. Both territories have natural and cultural heritage values that can be used for nature tourism.
Lot of companies in the Cesis district rural partnership area are micro enterprises.
