In the sunny and hot end of May, entrepreneurs gathered at Soomaa to gain experiences and to try services and products of local micro entrepreneurs. Acommodated in Põnka Holiday Farm, all participants got edutainment from soomaa.com and Ljudmila Ruukel, and visited alpaca farm and Lepiku-Mardi plant collection.

On May 30-31, 2018 rural entrepreneurs from Arenduskoda and Ida-Harju Koostöökogu visited Green Riverland area. Here is a photo story of interesting and useful spring days.

Canoeing trip was led by Aivar Ruukel from soomaa.com. Brave canoers gathered herbs while visiting lush river banks. The herbs were used at cooking workshop later in the evening.

Cooking fans were greeted with Udmurtian welcome drink by Ljudmila Ruukel, who also led a workshop of pelmema

 

At Põnka Holday Farm, a friendly host introduced local acommodation and sauna services as well as farm animals: mini cows, sheep, birds, rabbit, dog and cat.

The second day was begun at Alpakafarm. In addition to exotic alpacas, participants could see goats and mini sheep.

The next stop took entrepreneurs to Lepiku-Mardi plant collection, which is growing into full-time work from hostesses hobby.

Travel impressions were discussed and conclusions made at Pärnu Jaagupi Mõisa Köök, where participants could taste Green Riverland “Best area taste 2018“ awarded „Manor House paté“.
